Courses in the Biomedical Imaging Informatics Track   One introductory course in Biomedical Imaging Informatics - view course Two to four elective courses in the track of Biomedical Imaging Informatics. - view courses   In addition, we will actively work at collaborating with other Columbia departments that have relevant courses to implement the following: Modify the existing courses at other departments to cover issues that are important to the field of biomedical imaging informatics. These modified courses, together with other existing courses, will be listed in the elective category of the biomedical imaging informatics curriculum, along with computer science electives, and other biomedical domain electives. Examine courses offered at other departments and centers that can be modified to accommodate our mission for biomedical imaging informatics: Department of Psychology (e.g. Mind, Brain, Behavior); Department of Computer Science (e.g. Artificial Intelligence); Department of Biomedical Engineering (Biomedical Imaging) fMRI Research Center (Functional Neuroimaging of Human Brains) We will cross-list courses offered at other departments that we will find useful to our students who plan explore, in depth, specific subjects in the interdisciplinary field of biomedical imaging informatics.
