2006 Virginia K. Saba Informatics Award This award recognizes an individual's distinguished career and significant impact on the care of patients and the discipline of nursing. The Virginia K. Saba Informatics Award honors a professional with exemplary principles and practices and a substantial record of contribution to the field of nursing informatics. The 2006 Virginia K. Saba Informatics Award was presented to Suzanne Bakken at the AMIA 2006 Annual Symposium. New York Academy of Medicine Fellowships Since the founding of the New York Academy of Medicine, Fellows have played an important role in the vibrancy of the institution. The following faculty were elected Fellows of the New York Academy of Medicine.
